Carole Cay Covert passed away on September 19, 2018, after a short illness. She was born April 3, 1955 to Carl and Maxine Whitaker. The pride of her life was her three boys, and she lost a piece of her heart in 2002 when son, Ryan, predeceased her. She is survived by two sons, Marc Covert, Erick Helms and his wife Jennifer; five grandchildren, Krista, Jacob and Anthony Helms, and Jaxson and Carolina Rojas-Helms; and sister, Pam Hodges.Carol had two careers at AT&T/Lucent and Edmond Electric. She was our family historian, artistic, and had a passion for animals, touching many with her sweet nature.
