Carl (Daylate) Watts, 85, was born October 25, 1939 to Carlos Ray and Gladys (Edwards) Watts in Seiling, OK and passed away January 5, 2025 in Oklahoma City, OK.

He married Virginia Watts July 1, 1996 in Montgomery, TX.

Carl Watts retired from Roadway as a truck driver of many years. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Carl enjoyed clowning, drawing, woodwork and listening to great music. He enjoyed playing a variety of musical instruments, with guitar being his favorite. He loved spending time with friends and family, and he exceptionally enjoyed his great-grandchildren.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys and Carlos Watts; spouse, Virginia Watts of 21 years; brother, Robert Watts; and nephew, Dennis Watts.

He is survived by Mark (Jeanie) Watts of OKC; Terry (Karen) Watts of Mustang, Larry (Sandi) Watts of Dibble, Jennifer (Kevin) Malone of Wakefield, NE; grandchildren, LeAndra Carter of OKC, Charlie (Faith) Malone of OKC, Logan (Cheyenne) of Wakefield, NE; great-grandchildren, Ryan Malone of Wakefield, NE, and Hazel Malone of OKC; brother, Duane (Susan) Watts of Grove; and his beloved bird, JoJo.

Viewing will be Thursday, January 9, 2025 10am-6pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service with family present from 4-6pm. Service will be held in Mercer-Adams Chapel, Friday, January 10, 2025 at 10:00am with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
