Carl Willard Bean, 85, passed away October 14, 2021, in Bethany, OK. Carl was born March 22, 1936, in Meeker, OK to Clark & Vonnie Pauline Bean. He was married to Lora Ellen Nov. 17, 1979, in Warr Acres, OK. Carl loved fishing, grandkids, cold beer, and good food. He was a devoted husband, dad, grandfather, and great grandfather. He attended Meeker High School and graduated in 1955 and played basketball. Carl was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Fern DuBois; brothers, Leeford and Cecil; and daughters, Penny Blankenship & Laura Nuckols. He is survived by his loving wife, Ellen; sons, Gregory Bean & wife Tonya, Jeffery Bean & wife Tina; daughters, Carlene Scurlock, Bridgett Smith, and Debra Gillmore; 14 grandkids and 22 great grandkids. Viewing will be at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, Bethany, OK on Wed., Oct. 20, 2021, from 9am-8pm, with family present from 6-8pm.
