Carl Bahm, 88, died March 8, 2011. He was born May 25, 1922 in Cherokee, Oklahoma, the son of John Edward and Marie Katherine (Houser) Bahm. He was a proud Air Corps veteran and retired as a Lt. Col. from the US Army Reserves. He worked as an electrical technician at OG&E for more than 30 years before retirement. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty, and many brothers and sisters. He is survived by daughters Diane Gerred, Cindy Bockus (Gordon), Sue Wood (Bill), Kathleen Martin (Bill); sons, Steve (Lovella), Terry (Cindi), Mark (Angela), and Marty (Pamela); sister, Elizabeth Terry of Kiowa, KS; brother, Bob Bahm of Ponca City; and numerous grand and great-grandchildren. A wake will be held at 7:00pm, Thursday, at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, Bethany. Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, March 11, 10:00am at Cathedral of our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3214 N. Lake, OKC, with interment in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities in Carls name.
