Candy Jane Peet, 64, born April 19, 1959, in Lakeland, Florida left this Earth on December 25, 2023, in Bethany, Oklahoma.

Candy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Candy's love of scary movies was one of the many things her children have loved sharing with her over the years. Candy also loved music, dancing, taking care of her plants, cooking and making her grandbabies laugh. Her many phone calls will be deeply missed.

While Candy was born in Florida, she lived most of her life in Phoenix, Arizona before moving to Oklahoma in the fall of 2005. Wherever Candy lived, she was a friend and neighbor to all. Candy was always willing to help others and offer a listening ear. One of her best qualities was making sure others did not go without if she could help it. Candy shared many laughs with these friends, neighbors, and family. A true sound many of us will fondly miss.

Candy was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth Helen Cockle and Eugene Clark Douglas; along with her brother, Eugene Charles "Chuck" Douglas. Candy leaves behind four daughters, January Workman (Jason), Lynsy Anselmo (TJ), Cristy Cortez (Patrick) and Skylar Tacker (Jose); ten grandkids, Jayme, Jason Jr, Jeana, Maddie, Owen, Angel, Isley, Beckett, Stella, Burke; and two great grandbabies.

While Candy left us on such a special day, Christmas, to be with her mother and family, we will continue to blow kisses from far away knowing she will be catching them all.
