Calvin E. Sutterfield, 85, died January 6, 2014. He was born August 1, 1928 in Steedman, OK to Winford and Cora (Reece) Sutterfield. A proud veteran of the US Army, Calvin worked as an electrician, owning his own company. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Charline, and son, Kenneth. Survivors include his wife, Rachel; daughters Kartha Hughen and Karen Sutterfield; sons, Kim and Kirk Sutterfield; 5 sisters; 1 brother; 8 step-children; 6 grandchildren, Kim Jr., Aaron, Dustin, Taylor, Cooper and Parker; and 5 great-grandchildren, Kyle, Brianna, Micah, Noah and Jonah. Viewing will be Wednesday, 9am-7pm, with family present from 5-7pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Thursday, January 9, 2:00pm at Calvary Church of the Nazarene with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
