Obituary

Caleb Joseph-James Thomas, 17, passed away on June 27, 2024 in Oklahoma City, OK due to an unexpected medical emergency.

Caleb was born November 8, 2006 to Rachel Merritt-Thomas and Tim Thomas in Oklahoma City, OK. He attended Bethany Public Schools and made many friends in his time there.

Caleb enjoyed a wide variety of hobbies and activities. To name a few, he loved to play video games, board and card games, watching Anime, and playing practical jokes on his dad as often as possible. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and playing with his 4 dogs, along with any other animals that crossed his path. Above all, Caleb loved to draw. He was found drawing something nearly every day. If you spent any time with Caleb, you probably have received a Caleb original.

Caleb was preceded in death by his am-maw, maternal grandmother, Tisha.

He is survived by his mother, Rachel and father, Tim; his maternal grandfather, JR.; paternal grandmother, Dorothy; great grandparents, Leroy and Elsie; aunts, Chantae, Casy, Michelle, Marie, and Tammy; uncles, Blake, Travis, and Santos; cousins, Austin, Jadon, Kolton, Alyssa, Gabe, Haley, Aaliyah, Addi, Myla, Ella, Charity, Janie, Dewayne, Destiny, Jacob, Issaiah, Jeremiah, Jaylynd, Trinity, Matthew, Tyler, Kevin J, and Zuri; and a slew of great aunts; uncles; and second cousins; along with the many friends that Caleb's kindness and compassion touched every day. His unique personality and presence will be greatly missed.
