Braxton Andrew Herbel, 11, died June 8, 2011 in OKC. He was born July 31, 1999 in OKC to Jeffery and Samantha (Gaines) Herbel. He was a student at Will Rogers Elementary School. He was a gift from God. He richly blessed our lives with much joy and will be missed by all who ever met him. He was our angel here on earth and is now our guardian angel in heaven. He was greeted in heaven by his papas, Leonard Gaines and Harold Herbel. Survivors include his mother, Samantha, and Clint Bowman, of OKC; father, Jeff and wife Kitty, of Enid, OK; brother, Zayne (Bubba) of Enid, OK; grandparents, Sandra Gaines of Wheeler, TX, Sharon Parks and husband Phil of OKC; step-grandparents, Mike and Darlene McClellan of Davis, OK; uncles, Steve Gaines and wife Marilyn of Amarillo, TX, Ronnie Gaines of Wheeler, TX, Tim Herbel of Edmond, OK; and numerous extended family members and dear friends. Viewing will be Friday, noon-9pm with the family present from 5-7pm, and Saturday, 8-noon, at Mercer-Adams. Funeral service will be Sat., June 11, 2:00pm at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene with interment in Bethany Cemetery.
