Bonnie Lee Skrapka entered eternal life on October 20, 2015. She was born to Russell and Ruth Cowan on October 21, 1929 in Elkins, Arkansas. It was there that she attended School of the Ozarks where she graduated. She is survived by her sisters/best friends, Mary Louise Carter and Jean Castoe. She had a long and fulfilling career at AT&T, retiring after 28 years of service. Her proudest accomplishment was being a mother to her six children: Kenneth Harrell and wife Terry, Beverly Walters and husband Chuck, Glenda Karjoo, Carl Skrapka and wife Suzie, Mike Skrapka and wife Sherian, Jim Skrapka. Bonnie's sweet spirit is carried on by her 17 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. On October 20, 1972, she married her favorite and final dance partner, Carl Anton Skrapka. They shared a loving life together for 43 years. It was filled with square dancing and traveling. Bonnie will be remembered for her incredibly caring nature. She always saw the best in everyone she met. You were truly blessed if you had the privilege to get to know this loving, forgiving, and compassionate woman. The vigil will be held on Friday October 23 at 6:00pm and services will be Saturday October 24 at 11:30am at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church.
