Bobby Gene Tate, 72, died January 7, 2014. He was born February 14, 1941 in Parma, MO to Claude and Allie (Hamilton) Tate. He married Virginia Ann Walker, July 23, 1967 in Grundy, VA. He worked in construction as a painter and on machinery, and worked for the railroad as a fireman for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, daughter, Anita Baker, and grandson, Brian Baker. Bobby is survived by his granddaughter, Angela Baker, of Bethany, OK, and numerous other family members and friends. Viewing will be Friday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams.
