Obituary

Bobby Wayne Rogers passed away November 17, 2017 joining the love of his life Inez (Chandler). They were married 53 years. He was born July 30, 1929 in McLoud, OK to Omer Melton Rogers and Zella (Ellsworth) Rogers. He served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. Bob and Inez were owners of B&R Vending Company for 36 years He loved spending time fishing, playing dominos, spending time at Lake Texoma, tinkering around the house and his yearly trout fishing trip to the Blue River. He also volunteered many years at Newchurch serving donuts and coffee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez; parents; and brothers, Omer Rogers, Jr. and Joe Rogers. He is survived by sons, Mike and wife Betty and Steve and wife Debbie; grandchildren, Michele & Mike Boatman, Michael & Brittany Biggs, Desiree & Jeff Smouse, Lorrie Fredrick and Anthony & Casey Fredrick; great-grandchildren, Gavin Boatman, Emily Biggs, Porter Fredrick, Evan Biggs, Kiya Fredrick, Conlan Boatman, Kennedy Boatman, Ava Fredrick, Desmond Smouse, Ian Fredrick, Abygail Fredrick, Tessa Fredrick and many nieces and nephews. Viewing will be Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 8am-9pm with family present from 6-8pm. Graveside service will be at 10am, Wednesday, November 22 at the Green Hill Cemetery, Lindsay, OK with Memorial service to follow at 1pm at Newchurch, 9201 N. Rockwell, OKC.
