Bobby Ray Barger, 72, passed away peacefully April 4, 2009. He was born on August 3, 1936, in Sickles, Oklahoma to William and Goldie (Bailey) Barger. Bob founded Barger Plumbing in 1977. After Bobs retirement, the company, now called Barger Mechanical, continues as a family business run by his son and grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by his wife, Glenda; 2 sons, Bobby and Terry and his wife Linda. He is also survived by 1 sister, Viola Sanders, 5 grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremy and wife Cassy, Angie and husband Marshall, Jason and wife Jessica, and Brandi; 7 great grandchildren, Luke, Joey, Jadyn, Jordan, Jacob, Caleb and Jules. Bob also had many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Bob was an avid hunter, and loved fishing, enjoyed car racing and blue grass music. Bob was a loving husband, father and Papa." His grandkids were the joy of his life. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Services will be Tuesday, April 7, 2:30 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Bethany Cemetery.
