Bobby "Beau" Nichols, 50, of Oklahoma City, OK, made his final dribble down the court and into the pearly gates on Sunday, May 1, 2022.
Bobby was preceded in death by his stepfather, Carl Lott.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Valerie Hartman-Nichols and son, Cooper; mother, Delores Lott; father, Michael Nichols and wife Diane; sister, Nicki Flatley; nephew, Brandon and great niece, Ava; stepbrother, Todd Beaty; stepbrother, Brett Allen and wife Elizabeth; nephews, Preston and Parker; niece, Piper; stepsister, Melody Leenhouts and husband Bryan; nephews, Hayeden and Jacob; niece, Caroline; many uncles, aunts, and cousins; and copious "bonus" brothers and children.
Bobby had a deep love for sports, Star Wars, Marvel, his Yeti cup full of Dr. Pepper, Burts Bees in his pocket, recording his own weather forecast videos, but most of all, he loved his family, especially Cooper.
His love and knowledge of athletics quickly became a passion to coach Cooper and many other children, including his Bronchos and the Bomb Squad. Watching them learn the love of the game brought him much joy in life.
When not coaching or watching his son play, you could find him at Gigi's diner, aka Mom's house, with the family watching Sooners on Saturday and family dinner on Sunday.
Bobby went by many names: Bobby, Beau, Brother, Bob, Cletus, Son, Uncle Boo Boo Head, but his favorite was Golden Child.
Bobby was a great father, husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. For this reason and so much more, he will be greatly missed.
Weatherman Bob out.
