Obituary

Bobby Ray Hatley, 94, passed away October 14, 2025 in Oklahoma City. He was born March 5, 1931, in Oklahoma City to Earl and Thelma Hatley. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy.

Bob enjoyed a successful career as a salesman, working for Frito-Lay for 35 years. He was a hard worker, and an eternal optimist. One of his favorite sayings was "Age takes care of everything." Bob also enjoyed fishing and golf and worked as a golf course marshal for 25 years at Trosper Park. He and his wife, Shirley, loved traveling and were able to visit all 50 states together in their 70 years of marriage.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Shirley. He is survived by his sons, Mickey Hatley and Mark (Debbie) Hatley; grandchildren, Cody (Regina) Hatley and Kayla Hatley; and great-grandchildren, Sydney, Audrey, Kadey and Michael.

Viewing at Mercer-Adams will be Friday from 12-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
