Bobbie Rae Clark, 90, died Monday, September 14, in her Oklahoma City home surrounded by her family. She was the oldest child of W.R. and Bobbie T. (Kelly) Moore. She was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Neal Moore.
Bobbie was born in Fort Worth, TX on November 4, 1929. She was raised in Fort Worth and graduated high school in 1948, where she was a Rainbow Girl. Bobbie married Fred Clark, Jr. on September 24, 1948. In the early years of Freds career, they moved from Fort Worth to many towns in west Texas. They began to grow their family and moved to Oklahoma City in 1962. Bobbie was a member of Highland Hill Baptist Church since the church began as a mission church. She loved being a Sunday school teacher and also enjoyed Esther Womens Ministry, Modernette Book Club, SPE Wives Club and many other organizations.
Bobbie loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus, with all her heart, and she loved Gods Word. Though she was a humble, gentle woman, Bobbie was nonetheless a powerful prayer warrior. Only heaven knows what a wonderful and eternal impact all her many years of faithful praying have had on her family, her friends, and the world at large.
Bobbie was a quite a hostess, from a beautiful Thanksgiving feast, to a special birthday dinner with a favorite meal and dessert for each family member. She loved to host Sunday lunch and having her family at the table was her favorite time.
