Billye Sue Crownover met Jesus on February 7, 2013. She was born in Canadian, Oklahoma in her grandmother's home. She spent many years enjoying time in her "Canadian House". After graduation from McAlester High School she worked at the local drug store where she met her loving husband of 52 years, Lloyd M. Crownover, Jr. They lived in McAlester, OK and then moved to Kansas City where they started their family. Billye and Lloyd have two wonderful children, Lloyd M. Crownover III (Bud) and Susan Crownover Diffee. Billye's greatest treasure in life was being a mother. She truly made her house a home. She was always involved in her children's and grandchildren's lives, from PTA to sporting events and plays. Billye spent many successful years selling real estate with Abide, where she made many wonderful friends along the way. Her favorite hobby was collecting and "thrifting" with her daughter, Susan and daughter-in-law, Kim. She was also a loyal "Thunders" Fan. She and Lloyd faithfully watched them from the front row in their living room. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd M. Crownover Jr., son, Lloyd M. Crownover III (Bud) and wife Kim, daughter, Susan Crownover Diffee and husband Laine. She was adored and affectionately known as "Ma" by her nine grandchildren and one great-grandson; Bethany, Lloyd and Annabelle Crownover, Gann, Gray, Gage, Gibson and Glade Diffee, Garis Diffee and wife Riki, and great-grandson Ollie Diffee. They will all miss her greatly. She is also survived by her brother, Halsell Savage and many other family and friends who will miss her so very much.
