Billy "Talako" Williamson, 65, died August 26, 2013. He was born Feb. 3, 1948 in OKC to William and Freda (Verner) Williamson. He was a production company owner and also a jewelry dealer. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Nettie Verner, father, Tech. Sgt. Ret. William H. Williamson, and niece, Kim Williamson. Survivors include his wife, Susan Conway Williamson; mother, Freda Williamson; sons Benjamin Talako Williamson and Tanchi Nashoba Williamson; step-daughter, Katie Maria Shearer and husband Justin; brother, Terry Lee Williamson and wife Linda; nephew, Jim Williamson; great-nephew, William Williamson; and grandchildren, Zoei Amalei Williamson and Olivia Shearer. Billy was a true artist. He could work magic with a camera. He had an amazing mind and could do almost anything by watching someone else do it. He had countless friends, and he loved his family (and cats!) dearly. Billy was a devoted father, husband, son, and friend. He will be greatly missed by many, many people. Viewing will be Wednesday, noon -9pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams.
