Bill G. Ables, 75, died December 3, 2008. He was born May 31, 1933 in El Reno, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Julia, of the home; father Delbert Ables and wife Wanda Jo, Antlers, Oklahoma; sons Kendall Ables and wife Donna, Houston, Texas, Melvin Ables and wife Cindy, Bethany, Oklahoma; granddaughters Erin Heflin and husband Waylin and their son Auston, Houston, Texas, Lindi Masterson and husband Jason and their son Jake, Yukon, Oklahoma; 9 brothers and sisters; stepdaughters Margie Clayton, Oklahoma City, Maureen Hickman and husband T.C., Oklahoma City, Rachel Collins and husband Tim, Oklahoma City; 6 step-grandchildren, all of Oklahoma City; a wonderful church family of Southside Assembly of God, Oklahoma City; and countless relatives and friends. Viewing will be 12 noon - 9:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, December 6 and 7 at Mercer-Adams. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
