Billie Lee Hanks went to deliver freight in heaven with her mother, Pat, on September 21, 2023. She was born in El Reno, Oklahoma on January 11, 1979 to Patricia Sellers-Standfell and was raised in Yukon, Oklahoma where she went to school. Billie married Mike Hanks in May of 1997 and had two wonderful kids, Laura and Sean. They lived in Calumet, Oklahoma until Mikes passing. Later, she and her children moved to Oklahoma City with her significant other, Larry Moorhead, where they stayed until her passing.
Billie spent the majority of her life working in many different positions in many different bowling alleys. She spent very little time actually bowling but loved her time in the bowling centers. Many of her friends (too many to list) were from this line of work and she loved them all as her own family.
Billie will be remembered as a loving, caring, and selfless mother who could always be talked into cooking a roast anytime Sean wanted one. She loved to snuggle up on the couch with her beloved dog, Jazzy, and would offer up a hug to any of her six siblings who needed one. Billie was a social butterfly and seemed to always know someone anywhere she went.
Billie was preceded in death by her grandmother, Bernice Peters; grandfather, Billy Sellers; and mother, Patricia Sellers-Standfell. She is survived by her significant other, Larry Moorhead; daughter, Laura "Phoenix" Hanks; son, Sean Hanks; grandfather, Robert Peters; sisters, Tina "Sissy" Hoover and husband Dusty, Cindy Smith and husband Bill, Mindy Standfell and husband Jeff, Paula Sparks and Jesse Camel, and Tasha Chandler and husband Billy; brother, Lyndell "Bubba" Standfell; brother-in-law, Garrett Sparks; nine nieces; eight nephews; seven great-nieces; and nine great-nephews. Billie is also survived by many, many, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. (There were twenty-four great-aunts and great-uncles just on her mothers side, so her family tree is massive!)
Billie will be missed greatly because she was loved greatly, and because she loved unconditionally.
