Billy Lee Feland, Sr. March 27, 1939- May 20, 2021 Billy (Bill) Lee Feland, Sr. was welcomed home to Heaven on May 20, 2021. Jesus was his Lord and Savior and he lived to serve Him. Bill was born on March 27, 1939 in Floyd, NM. He was the youngest of four children born to Zola Ali and Elsie Elizabeth (Watson) Feland. His early years were spent in New Mexico on the family farm. As a teenager, he helped out as a cattle hand when he was not attending school. The family eventually made their way to Andrews, TX, where Bill met and married his lifelong sweetheart, Mary Dow (Redding) Feland on February 27, 1959. In 1961, Bill gave his heart to the Lord during a church service at the Andrews Church of the Nazarene. Shortly after he was saved, he was called to become a preacher. He packed up his little family and headed to Bethany, OK where he attended Bethany Nazarene College to prepare him for becoming a pastor. While studying, he worked for Aero Commander at Wiley Post Airport and started his own roofing company, A Plus Roofing. Bill then served as the pastor of several Nazarene churches in Oklahoma, Texas, and Mississippi. Bill and Mary loved serving the Lord and their church congregations everywhere they went. He finally retired from full-time ministry in 1984 and settled in Bethany, OK where he continued the A Plus Roofing business. Although he was not in "full-time" ministry, Bill considered the world his mission field. He used his business to build relationships with his customers and consistently pointed anyone and everyone to the saving grace of Jesus Christ. He stayed in Bethany for many years before moving to Yukon, OK where he faithfully attended Richland Church of the Nazarene. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Mary of 62 years; his children: Sheila Wesley and husband, Dale, of Clovis, NM; Karen Lawrence and husband, Bruce, of Hutchinson, KS; Bill Feland, Jr. and wife, Connie, of Yukon, OK; Stephen Feland and wife, Anita, of Yukon, OK; 11 grandchildren and their spouses, and 10 great-grandchildren with one on-the-way. He was preceded in death by his parents, Zola Ali Feland and Elsie Elizabeth (Watson) Feland; brothers, Elmer Feland, Bob Feland; and sister, Florence (Flo) Grant. Viewing will be Sunday, May 30, 1-8pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Funeral service will be 2:00pm on Tuesday, June 1 at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
