Beverly passed from this world just before midnight on December 12, 2019. She was born August 14, 1946 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After graduation from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, she took a job as a copy writer at Bloomingdales in New York City. While at Bloomingdales, she was also involved in dress design and helped that department with various designs impacting womens fashions in NYC as well as other locations within Bloomingdales. After she left Bloomingdales she returned home to Oklahoma City and pursued a degree in nursing, becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was working on getting her RN when her dad passed away in 1987. Bev had multiple degrees and was well educated but her favorite time was in NYC working at Bloomingdales where she had an impact on fashion design. Bev is survived by her sister, Sharen Vernale and her husband, Richard and their sons, Michael and Christopher and his wife, MaKenzie. She is also survived by cousins, W. Paul Woody and his wife, Linda and Stephen M. Woody and his wife, Susan, as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 16th at Mercer-Adams with interment in Memorial Park in North Oklahoma City.
