Betty Joan (Laird) Organ, 88, passed on January 3, 2020. She was born in Enos, OK on May 25, 1931. Betty graduated from Central High School, where she lettered in tennis and played clarinet in the marching band. She married Robert "Bob" Benton in 1952. Betty was an avid painter and sculptor. Betty and Bob were involved in Clipper Club and loved to dance. Betty is survived by her 4 daughters, Ren (Ed) Safley, Cherie (Tim) Gritzmaker, Robin Potts, and Roberta (Jamey) Chestnut, as well as 7 grandkids and 7 great-grandkids. The family wants to express appreciation to Moms loyal longtime companion and caregiver, Bobby Geisler. Services will be held at Mercer-Adams in Bethany at 2:00pm on Wednesday, January 8.
