Betty Lou Porter Lott, 80, died October 15, 2019 in Oklahoma City. She was born November 1, 1938 in Luling, TX to John "Knox" and Ruby Faye (Baggett) Porter. She earned a bachelors degree in business from Texas A&I in 1960. She worked as a library aide at both Mayfield and Cooper middle schools. Betty was a longtime, active member of Highland Hills Baptist Church. An avid reader, she enjoyed gardening, and volunteered monthly with Feed the Childrens eyeglass clinic. She married Bobby Wayne Lott on June 10, 1960. He preceded her on October 3, 1992. Survivors include her daughters, Lanora Schwartz and husband Mark of Bethany, Laura Andrews of Enid; sons, Darryl Lott and wife Boon of Ventura, CA, Dean Lott and wife Anissa of Edmond, and Dale Lott of Bethany; 9 grandchildren, Daniel, Katherine, Kimberly and husband Josh, Kirby, Kalli and husband A.J., Kortney, Kinley, Kelton and Kadyn; 2 great-grandchildren, Jane and Winston; brother, John Porter and wife Connie; sister, Shirley Lundy and husband F.W.; and brother-in-law, James Lott. Viewing will be Thursday, 1-9pm with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Friday, October 18, 2:00pm at Highland Hills Baptist Church, Oklahoma City, with pastor Greg Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Yukon Cemetery, Yukon, OK. Memorials may be made to the Mayfield or Cooper Middle School libraries.
