Betty Louise Hill Goforth, 94, passed away March 11, 2016 in Yukon, OK. She was born on February 7, 1922 to Dennis and Ruby Hill in OKC. Betty graduated in 1940 from Bethany High School and was crowned the schools first ever basketball queen. On July 13, 1940, Betty married Marvin (Blackie) Goforth, Sr. and the two shared their lives together for 68 years until his passing on February 21, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Darrel Hill; sister, Ramona Marsh; and brother, D.F. Hill. Betty is survived by her son, Marvin Goforth, Jr. and wife Candy of OKC; daughter, Deborah Patton and husband Gerry of St. Louis; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
