Betty Ruth (Baker) Ballew, 90 years old, born January 9, 1932, died September 18, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She married Delbert Ballew on August 28, 1946. Betty is survived by her son, Donnie Ballew and wife Margaret of Ardmore, Oklahoma; her son, Ronnie Ballew of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her son, Ricky Ballew of Forney, Texas; her daughter, Trena Sullivan and husband Bill of McLoud, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special buddy, Gus. She was predeceased by her husband, Delbert; her mother, Nona Baker; her son, Mark Ballew; and her three brothers, Bill Baker, Bob Baker, and Sidney Baker; and father, Joe. Betty moved to Oklahoma after living in Texas and raising her family. She worked in retail sales until her retirement in approximately 2000. She worked for Putnam City Schools as a Cafeteria Monitor until 2022. Viewing will be Tuesday, 10am-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Wednesday, September 21, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
