Betty Jo (Waddell) Adams, 91, died April 23, 2019 in OKC. She was born on December 26, 1927 in Cushing, OK to Ralph and Sylvia Waddell. She graduated from Deep Rock High School in 1947. On November 4, 1950, she married Lucien Adams in Cushing, OK and they were together for 67 years. Together they co-owned Adams Service Company until retiring in 1993. Betty served in the Pre-School area at FBC of Bethany for over 50 years and also was a member of the Silver City Antique Tractor Club with Lucien. She was preceded in death by Lucien, both parents, one sister, and two brothers. Survivors include Darrell Adams and wife Neta, Marcella Shed and husband Steve, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one sister, and three brothers. Viewing will be Thursday, April 25th ~ 9am-9pm, with family present 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams in Bethany. Services are on Friday, April 26th at 10:00am at First Baptist Church of Bethany with interment in Bethany Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Bethany or the Alzheimers Assoc.
