Bertha Marie Mitchell, 88, faithful wife, loving mother and grandmother, passed from this life January 14, 2009. She was born June 20, 1920 in Parkland, Oklahoma. She married the love of her life, Hubert, July 2, 1940. Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert; her parents William and Carrie Tibbett; three brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by daughters Gail Corey and husband Ray, Sheila Whitfield and husband John; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be Saturday, January 17, 1:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Parkland Cemetery, Parkland, Oklahoma.
