Berniece Inez Kuhlman died at 5:45 a.m. on February 7, 2020 in Edmond, OK at the age of 97. She was born November 16, 1922 in Minco, OK. She was a member of Williams Nazarene Church, a graduate of Yukon High School and an employee of an insurance company in Oklahoma City. She was an artist, loved reading, working puzzles, doing needle work, and eating Blue Bell ice cream! Berniece was preceded in death by her mother, Lora (Pinkston) Kuhlman; her father, Julius Kuhlman; and brother, Kenneth Kuhlman. She is survived by niece, Darla Sturtevant (Slaughter); and nephews, Duane Kuhlman and Dale Kuhlman, all of Pueblo, CO. Her caregivers, along with the staff at Grace Skilled Nursing and Therapy and Good Shepherd Hospice, were Rose Mary (Davis) Lakin of Edmond and JoAnn (Pinkston) Gedosh of Ft. Smith, AR. She is also survived by her good friend, Arlene Brown. Services will be held Wednesday, February 12 at 11:30am at Mercer-Adams Chapel in Bethany, officiated by Rev. Bill Kalfas. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Minco, OK.
