Bernard Lee "Bernie" Goeser, 61, died July 27, 2016. He was born November 21, 1954 in Omaha, Nebraska to Vincent and Josephine (Arnts) Goeser. A truck driver, he was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus. He was a loving son, father, grandfather and brother. An avid animal lover, he raised turkeys, ostriches, guineas, chickens, goats, dogs, and was on the verge of trying his hand at tilapia. He also had a worm farm and enjoyed bee keeping. Bernie was preceded in death by his father, Vincent and his sister, Patty Jo. Survivors include his mother, Josephine Goeser; daughter, Sharon Woods; brothers, George, Anthony and Frances; grandchildren, Dalton and Jonna Woods; and great-grandson, Edward Connor Woods. A wake will be held on Thursday, August 4, 7:00pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, August 5, 10:00am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with interment following in Kansas Cemetery, Piedmont, Oklahoma.
