Barbara Sue Smith, age 70, died January 28, 2023 in Oklahoma City. She was born May 1, 1952 in Huntington, West Virginia to John and Nannie (Meadows) Weekley. Barbara married Gerald Smith on December 20, 1985, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She worked as a school cook and also in retail at Catherines and Braums. Survivors include her husband, Gerald; mother, Nannie Costello; sister, Gloria "Diana" Weekley; brother, Mike Castilla; nieces and nephews, Solana Valerio-Weekley, Lilia Velerio-Weekley, Niaomi Valerio-Weekley, Ashley Costello-Cole, Robert Lummus, Nathan Lummus, Jonathan Weekley, Jarod Thompson, Rhonda Castilla, Jerry Vaughn, David Vaughn, Peggy Davis, Tammy West, Vanna Smith, Bruce Smith, Eddie J. Smith, Jr., and Brenda Baker. She was preceded in death by her father, Papa Joe Costello; biological father, John Weekley; brothers, Robert Weekley, Rick Costello, and Kenny Costello; nieces, Jackie Richardson, and Patsy Gregory.
