Aurelia Elisa Horrell passed away peacefully at the Integris Hospice House on June 11, 2024. She was born on June 14, 1938 in Chicago, Il to Juan and Vicenta Caudillo. She was the eldest of five children. During her early years, the family moved to Tonkawa, OK, and she graduated from Tonkawa High School in 1957.

After high school, Aurelia attended beauty school and worked in a salon in Tulsa, OK. She married Gene Horrell on July 30, 1966. The couple made their home in Oklahoma City and had two children, Darren and Angie.

Aurelia worked as a sales associate at the JC Penney Co. for twenty years and was a devoted member of Crossings Community Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. We will miss her greatly.

Aurelia is survived by her son, Darren and wife Jennifer; daughter, Angie; and grandsons, Blake and Bryce.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Tuesday June 18 at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
