Audie Marie Lynn Baldwin, 88, died October 6, 2016 in OKC. She was born January 3, 1928 in Goldthwaite, TX to Rev. and Jane Lynn, the youngest of 8 children. She was raised in the West Texas towns of Shep and Big Spring. She met W. J. Frank Baldwin at Bethany-Peniel College, now Southern Nazarene University, and they married on March 7, 1947 in Kansas City, MO, sharing almost 70 years together. Audie was very involved in the music of every church she attended, participating in choirs, playing piano and organ. She was a lifelong member of the Nazarene denomination. She was a gifted and organized homemaker and enjoyed painting, crocheting and gardening. She made beautiful cards on her computer for birthdays and special occasions and always included a Bible verse and words of encouragement. She served on the board of Christian Womens Club in Bella Vista, AR. She was a gifted writer and recorded her childhood experiences in West Texas, compiling a book for her children and grandchildren. Audie is survived by her loving husband, Frank; sons, Dwight Baldwin and wife Delynda of Austin, TX, Jerald Baldwin and wife Diane of OKC; grandchildren, Matt Baldwin (Leslie), Justin Baldwin (Nicole), Kirk Baldwin (fianc Stephanie Garcia), Betsy Baldwin Fischborn (Keith), Emily Wiley (Joel); step-grandchildren, Summer Curry (Scott), Jason Wood (Amanda), Sundi Wood; great-grandchildren, Bennett , Mabry, Kate, Mallory and Hudson Frank; and step-great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Cody, Juliana, MariKate Grace, Eliott, and Jonah. Viewing will be Tuesday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Wednesday, October 12, 2:00pm at Piedmont Church of the Nazarene with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
