Athlene Gunter, 78, passed away Sept. 16, 2013 in Oklahoma City. She was born July 28, 1935. She was married to Thomas Gunter for 24 years. Later, she had a partner, Bill Vickrey, for many years. Athlene loved her children, traveling and Billy Graham. She was a caretaker all of her life. Athlene had 4 children, Tommy Gunter, Dewey Gunter and wife, Toni, Shaun Gunter and wife, Herminia and Reba Thomas and husband, Jack. She also had 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Thank you to the family for all of your love and support. Athlene will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Services will be Saturday, September 21, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK.
