Farrier, Arthur William (Bill), age 71, of Oklahoma City, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2015 following a cerebrovascular event. Bill was born on February 24, 1943 in Corpus Christi, Texas and graduated from Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City. He attended Sinclair College in Dayton, Ohio where he met Debbie, his wife of over 40 years. He had numerous professions during his lifetime. He was a high school intern at Oklahoma's Own News 9, a painter, and a truck driver. His final career path was as a draftsman and Bill retired from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. Bill enjoyed the outdoors and spent many hours hunting, fishing, shooting, camping, and riding his motorcycles. From BSAs to Harleys, Bill's love of the motorbike was a well-known fact among all who knew him. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Sr. (Art) and Jean Farrier, and his beloved wife, Debbie. He is survived by his brother Michael Wayne Farrier of Lawton, OK; his son, Jeff McCarroll and his wife Kathie of Oklahoma City; his daughter, Jennifer Craddick and her husband Bill of Knoxville, TN; his grandson, Aaron Tapley of Knoxville TN. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home in Bethany, Oklahoma, where the family will receive friends. Bill's passing is a deep loss to his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
