Annabelle Thompson went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 5, 2021. She was born June 2, 1933 in Mountain Home, AR to Lewis Smith and Ethel Mae Callaway. She was preceded in death by her brother, Burhl Smith; her sister, Evelyn Hudson; and brothers; Homer and Charles Smith. She graduated from MT Home High School in 1951. She played basketball and was crowned Miss Norfork. She attended business school in Kansas City. She married Dr V.E. Hutcheson Jr. on February 10, 1951 and they were married until his death March 20, 1966. She then married Jack Thompson on August 23, 1967 and they were married until his death November 16, 2015. Together, they had 10 children: Jack Thompson Jr (now deceased); Jeanie Stafford; Cathy McGehee; Patricia Matthews; MaryAnn Thomas and her husband Mike; Nancy Dowell; Mark Thompson (now deceased); Donnie Thompson and his wife Denise; Sammie Inman and her husband Ted; Scott Hutcheson and his wife Lisa. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She loved hearing her husband, her favorite preacher, preach. She served with her husband, Jack Thompson, at the Meridian Ave Baptist Church, and Mid-America Baptist Church, both of OKC, the El Vista Baptist Church of Peoria Il, and the Western Oaks Baptist Church of Bethany, OK. They enjoyed making many mission trips to Spanish Wells Bahamas, a mission trip to Haiti and a visit to Israel. For the last several years both Jack and Annabelle were members of the Calvary Baptist Church in Eufaula, OK. Services will be Friday, January 8, 10:00am at Southwest Baptist Church, OKC, with interment in Calvary Cemetery, Eufaula, OK at 3:00pm. .
