Ann's Secret Garden florist's namesake, Anna Marie Gervais, passed away April 5, 2014 at home from Alzheimer's and macular degeneration. She was born October 26, 1926 in Altamont, KS to Bertha and Frank Armstrong. A Registered Nurse, she met James Baker Gervais during her training. They celebrated 63 years together. Daughter, Jo Ann and son, James and wife Lynda had wonderful role models. Other survivors include grandson, Justin and wife Selena along with great-granddaughters, Shayla and Maya of Prairie Grove, AR. Special thanks to the entire staff at Frontier Hospice and Christine Maryman. Services will be Thursday, April 10 at 1:00pm at Western Oaks Christian Church, 8100 NW 23rd St. with interment in the National Cemetery Elgin, OK at a later date.
