The Lord received Ann Spencer into heaven Wednesday afternoon, October 12, 2016. Ann was born in Rocky Comfort, MO to Chris and Genetta Ann (Maples) Roller. She was the youngest of seven girls. As a young 7 year old girl, her family moved to Kansas City, KS. She graduated from Turner High School and Hills Business College. In 1942, she moved to Oklahoma City where she met and married Warren Spencer in 1943. They lived in Oklahoma City during their marriage of nearly 50 years where they raised two daughters. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She loved children and found great joy in teaching Sunday School for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren of 49 years, her parents and 6 sisters. She is survived by her two daughters, Janel (John) Roberts, and Marilyn (Randy) Marx; two grandsons, Timothy Roberts and Jeremy Roberts; one great-granddaughter, Autumn Roberts; and two nieces and one nephew. Special thanks to Trisha and Sylvia who gave of their hearts with such love and compassion in caring for mom. Viewing will be Sunday, 11am-9pm, with family present from 2-4pm at Mercer Adams.
