Andrew George Dech, Jr., 65, died December 23, 2011. He was born August 20, 1946 in Altadena, CA to Andrew and Ida (Evans) Dech. He worked in construction and cross-country trucking. He was a longtime member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene. He loved participating in mission trips, woodworking and collecting antique tools. Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife, Sharen; daughters, Andrea Plant and husband Jonathan, Alicia Bamford and husband Craig; brothers, Ron Dech and wife Linda, Dwayne Dech and wife Sandra; granddaughter, Laurel Plant; and numerous nieces and nephews and other extended relatives. Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 27, 2:00pm at Calvary Church of the Nazarene with interment in Bethany Cemetery.
