Alton C. Bogard, 93, died February 5, 2019 in Midwest City. He was born July 14, 1925 in Medicine Mound, TX to Cornelius A. and Myrtle (Seely) Bogard. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp. Alton retired from Tinker AFB as an electronics equipment specialist. On June 1, 1948, he married Dorothy Norris in New Mexico. She preceded him in death as well as 4 sisters and 7 brothers. He loved to tinker and build things and enjoyed spending time at the lake. Survivors include his son, Dwayne and wife Vicki of Choctaw; daughter, Debra Nugent and husband Bob of Edmond; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and 1 great niece. Viewing will be Wednesday, noon-9pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Thursday, February 7, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City.
