Altha Lee Murray, 99, went to her heavenly home on Monday, January 24, 2022 in Oklahoma City. She was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, and church. She was born March 27, 1922, in Bethany, OK to Murray Lee and Ethel Mae (Vawter) Terrill. She married the love of her life, Clifford Murray, on August 1, 1939, in El Reno, OK and they shared 60 wonderful years together and raised 3 children before his death in 1999. She was a hard-working woman that helped Clifford in their family-owned grocery store, taking care of the home and odd jobs to make ends meet. They were longtime members of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene. Altha was known for her uplifting personality and her love of caring for animals. Altha was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 1 sister. Survivors include her 3 children: daughter, Betty James and husband Don; son, Henry Murray and wife Shirlie; and son, Max Murray and wife Shirley; sister, Imogene Terrill; 8 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 40 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Viewing will be Monday, 9am-8pm with family present from 5-7pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2:00pm at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene and will be live streamed. .
