Alta Beatrice Boston was born on June 17, 1923 and passed away on January 4, 2015. Her parents were John Harrison and Rosa Collett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Leroy Boston and by her daughter, Connie Lynn. She is survived by one son, Charles Boston and his wife Cheryl; four granddaughters, Rachel, Sarah, Charity and Hannah; one son, Adam; and two great-grandsons, Ethan and Evan. She had six brothers and two sisters and is survived by one sister, Edna McMahon. Alta graduated from Ladd Grade School in 1939 and graduated from Washington High School in 1943. She then worked at Montgomery Wards in downtown main street in Oklahoma City before beginning to attend Bethany Nazarene College. There she met Leroy Boston (from Iowa) who was also attending Bethany Nazarene College. They were married in Iowa where she made her home until the passing of her beloved husband in 1997.
