Alma June Minicozzi, maiden name Stephens, born April 11, 1931, was called to her heavenly home on December 10, 2020 in Oklahoma City. Her celebration of life service will be held at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at 2:00pm. She will be buried in Resthaven Cemetery in South Oklahoma City with her beloved husband, Charles Minicozzi, who preceded her in death in 1979. Alma was a longtime resident of Oklahoma. She lived in Moore for many years, and then spent the last 5 years as a resident of Golden Age Nursing Home of Guthrie. She was married to Charles Minicozzi in Denton, Texas in 1962. She spent many years with Charles traveling between Florida and the East Coast working the tourist season in upscale restaurants. She loved working with the public. Alma gave birth to 9 children, 7 of which are living. Her children include Steve Valadez of Miami, FL, Tony Valadez of Orlando, FL, Rick Valadez of Phoenix, AZ, Terry Valadez of Moore, OK, Rosita Valadez of Moore, OK, Tonette Webster of Oklahoma City, OK, and Charles Minicozzi of Mustang, OK. She has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved very much. Alma loved her family above all else and enjoyed spending time with them. She was always willing to help out family members in any way she could. She believed in hard work and taught her children a good work ethic. She is going to be greatly missed by all who knew her.
