Alberta Ann Watson, age 88, passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2026, in Oklahoma City, OK. Alberta was born on June 20, 1938, to Albert and Annie Marshall in Bucks Branch, Kentucky. She grew up as one of thirteen children.

On November 7, 1965, she married Keith Watson in Albion, Michigan. They spent 61 loving years together in marriage. They had two daughters, Paula (deceased, age 9) and Pam (Watson) Starner and her husband Billy, who reside in Oklahoma City; granddaughter, Jamie Starner; and great-grandson Levi.

Alberta devoted her life to caring for her family as a loving wife, matriarch, and best friend. She found great joy in playing music with her brothers and sisters, participating in Bible studies, and listening to her favorite Christian music. Known for her kind and generous spirit, Alberta was always willing to help those she loved. She welcomed every opportunity to care for her family and surrounded them with unwavering love.

Alberta's wish for all who knew her was that they would find God and live life to the fullest until the day they meet again in Heaven.

Viewing at Mercer-Adams is 10am-8pm on Monday, with family present from 5-7pm. Graveside services will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, August 4 in Duncan Municipal Cemetery.
