Albert "Tom" Murphy, 69, died April 7, 2016 in OKC. He was born June 12, 1946 in Newark, New Jersey and adopted at the age of 7 by Albert E. and Valetta (Durear) Murphy. He served in the US Army and was a member of the Nazarene church for 47 years. He worked in the roofing industry for over 40 years. He married Jolene Edwards on January 11, 1969 in OKC. He was preceded in death by his adopted parents. Survivors include his wife, Jolene; 3 daughters, Brenda Speikers and husband Robert, Tammy Murphy, and Amanda Hornbeck and husband Donny; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 6 sisters; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Viewing will be Sunday, 11am-9pm, with family present from 3-5pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Monday, April 11, 10:30am at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene with interment following in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
