Albert Douglas was born in Marlow, OK. He worked his entire career at Halliburton as a welder in Duncan, OK. Albert retired from Haliburton in 1994. After his retirement, he volunteered with the Oklahoma American Red Cross and spent time traveling to aid victims of flooding and tornado disasters in Oklahoma. In 2005, he traveled with the American Red Cross to New Orleans, LA to assist in the relief efforts due to hurricane Katrina. Albert enjoyed playing dominos, cards and square dancing. He is survived by his loving children, David Copeland of OKC, Tonya (Mike) Chase of Chandler, and Dea (Jon) Berkman of OKC; grandchildren, Collin Berkman of OKC, Ashley (Dillon) McDaniel of Norman, and Casey Chase of Chandler; sister-in-law, Helen Douglas of Duncan; nephews, Gary Douglas of Duncan, Ray Dean Douglas of Duncan, and Vincent Douglas of Marlow; great-niece, Tesha (Josh) Gordon of Pensacola, FL. Visitation will be 11am-6pm Tuesday, November 21, at Mercer-Adams, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Red Cross.
