Obituary

Alan Lee Brock passed peacefully on June 17, 2021, with his beloved wife, Dorothy, by his side. Alan was born in Oklahoma City, OK on May 6, 1945. He graduated from Northwest Classen High School in May of 1963 and joined the Air Force in December of that year, which took him to Olathe, Kansas, not far from Kansas City, where he met the love of his life, Dorothy Hildebrand. He proudly served in the Air Force, obtaining his Associates degree, and earning several Service Medals and Awards and then retiring in 1988 after 25 years of service. The Air Force led him to his second career with Boeing which took him through to his second twenty-five-year retirement in 2013. Alan and Dorothy recently celebrated 55 years of marriage. He loved and treasured his family and friends. He loved driving his Corvette and taking road trips especially to Vegas. He loved his dachshunds and will be missed by LJ, Jennie, MacLin, George, Coco & Walter. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Brock; his brother, Larry Brock; and his precious grandson, Aiden Peck. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughter, Kathy Cross and her husband Charles of OKC; daughter, Karen Peck and her husband Jon of Seattle, WA; son, Alan Jr. and his wife Jamie of Del City; "bonus" daughter, Heather Whitford of Tawas City, MI; grandchildren, Connor Meek and his fianc Whitney Wood, Audrey Brock, Kyra Peck, and Brooklynn, Jacob & Savannah Malega; sisters, Patricia Prince & Vanessa Causey and brother, Chip Wall, and their spouses; and his mother, Katherine Curry. He was a loving husband, a great Dad and Grandfather and a good friend. He will be dearly missed by many. "Be who you are and say what you feel because those that matter dont mind and those that mind dont matter."
