Addie-Jane Callahan Davis, deeply loved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, passed from this life to her new home with Jesus on February 12, 2013, at the age of 87 years, after a brief illness of congestive heart failure. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Paul Lilburn Davis; father, Eliga J. Callahan; mother, Mabel Imogene Demmitt Henderson Callahan; brother, Taylor Wyatt Callahan; sister, Lila Callahan Hixon; half-brothers, Bill Henderson and Russell Callahan; half-sister, Opal Downs; and granddaughter, Ashley Dawn LaGrow. She is survived by her three children, son, Paul Douglas Davis, daughter, Twila LaVerne Davis Willard and her husband Rick, and daughter, Patricia Ann Davis LaGrow and her husband Gary; grandchildren, Tina Cherie Davis Williams, Misti Cherie Davis Harrison, Kyle Willard, and Jennifer Willard Robinson; and seven great-grandchildren. After many years of raising her children, she returned to work, retiring from the Internal Revenue Service. Addie was a dedicated genealogist who spent years researching her family line back to the 1500's in Ireland, documenting our history in three large volumes. We will miss her so much! Viewing will be Sunday, February 24, with the family present from 2pm - 4pm. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, February 25, at Forest Hill Christian Church, 2121 N. MacArthur, OKC. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Forest Hill Christian Church Building Fund.
