Ada May Tate, 100 years old, of Bethany, OK, passed from this life on October 9, 2022, in Midwest City, OK. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, 3925 N Asbury Ave, Bethany, OK. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 8701 Northwest Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK 73162. Arrangements are by Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. Ada May Tate was born in Eaton Rapids, Michigan to Lauren and Ella May Miller on April 15, 1922. She graduated from Central High School in Lansing, Michigan. She married Clarence Tate on May 4, 1951 in Lansing, Michigan. She worked for Fisher Body Factory in Lansing, Michigan for many years. In her earlier years, Ada enjoyed writing poetry, bowling and playing bridge with her many friends. Ada May Tate was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clarence Tate of 58 years and ten brothers and sisters. Ada May Tate is also survived by her kids: Judy Hallbauer of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; Sue Doolittle of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; John Tate (Carla) of Piedmont, Oklahoma; Sally Munson (David) of Midwest City, Oklahoma; Joan Heikens (Dan) of Valdez, Alaska; Karen Smith (Terry) of Corpus Christi, Texas; and many grandkids, great grandkids and great great grandkids. Honorary pallbearers will be John Tate, Jim Mulkey, Gary Munson, Mike Munson, Johnnie Tate and Tyler Munson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Arbor House Assisted Living Facility (9240 E Reno, Midwest City, OK 73130; (405) 455-3900.
