Life Legacy

JoAnne Nixon, age 75, died February 4th, 2012, at Grace Living Center in Edmond, OK, with her loving family at her side. Awaiting her in heaven are her sisters and best friends, Edna May and Janice, her son, Dale, and her husband, Carl. She is survived by her grandchildren, Cody, Travis, Jessica, and Jenna Danielson, and her great granddaughter, Isabelle Danielson; as well as numerous other friends and family that will miss her dearly. JoAnne loved being a nurse, and continued to volunteer long after retiring. She also enjoyed dancing with her Carl, cooking, and most of all, she loved and lived for her grandchildren. She was one of the kindest, most caring, thoughtful and giving people in this world, and the world lost a little piece of joy when she passed. Visitation will be held at Mercer Adams Funeral Service all day Monday, February 6th, 2012 with family visitation from 6-8PM.The Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 7th, 2012 at 11:00am with a luncheon to follow at 50th Street Church of Christ.
